Uniform Resource Locator (URL) Access to Documents and Sites¾ Allows users to access Web Sites and import documents directly from IslandWrite.
Hyperlink Embedding¾ IslandWrite users have immediate access to related material located on the Desktop, Intranet or Web. IslandWrite also allows them to retain hyperlinks embedded in the HTML documents that they import from the Web.
HTML Document Import¾ Users can pull documents directly off the Web and into IslandWrite.
Support for JPEGs, GIFs and GIF Transparencies¾ IslandPaint and IslandPresents users can create graphics and presentations for use on the Intranet and Web.

24-bit color display¾ 24-bit color display allows Island customers with 24-bit hardware to display richer graphics, beneficial especially for viewing graphics and presentations over an Intranet or the Web. Customers with 8-bit hardware are still supported with v6.0.

The Island Productivity Series version 6.0 is available now on HP-UX 10.10, AIX 4.1, SunOS 4.1.3 and Solaris 2.3 and includes IslandOffice; Island Write, Draw & Paint; IslandPresents; IslandCalc; IslandInTEXT and IslandBuild. IslandOffice is a bundled office suite that includes Island Write, Draw & Paint; IslandPresents and IslandCalc. At a list price of US$1695, IslandOffice offers a savings of US$790 off the price of purchasing each Island product separately. Individually, Island Write, Draw & Paint is US$995 list and includes IslandTable and IslandEquation. IslandPresents is US$995 list and includes IslandSound, IslandShow, IslandChart and IslandPaint.
