June Addendum, 2001 - www.interestalert.comQuick questions answered on InterestAlert Network
1. Can I advertise my site with the banner? Yes, just paste it in the developer center in the area called InterestAlert NETWORK. No inappropriate (porn, racist, etc) ads.
2. Do you get 2000 banners and 2000 Enews Newsletters each month or only one or the other? You get both! The banners have your ad on them and the E-News newsletters have your name and site links...that is alot of advertising each month!
3. Do people really open Enews Newsletters? Yes as long as you make sure you send your newsletters HTML...we track stats on opens and you can tell each week how many were opened and read by your lists. Historically, "News" newsletters are opened by 50% of the recipients each week and 80% over the course of a month! This is the most effective way to get your brand out and, since it is news, the unsubscribe rate is very low...most people want to read it...and it is branded as being delivered by your site.
4. Can I load my customer list as "opt'd in". "Yes" if they are on a list you regularly market and send things to. There is an Unsubscribe on every newsletter so if they feel they got it in error they will unsubscribe. Our most successful sites have rapidly built their "e-news" newsletter delivery by putting their customers on it. By putting their customers on a weekly delivery they are putting their name in front of their customers on a regular basis.
5. Can I have my banner just on certain types of sites that fit my target markteting? Yes, but it costs more. Regular banners are run of network.
6. How many sites are in the InterestAlert Network? Currently 3500 and over 2M unique users a month! News is the most actively read item on the internet.
7. The site says just "use it and we will contact you with billing", you won't bill me without talking to me will you? Of course not...we want you to try it and if you like it you order it from our sales guy when he calls you. Nothing will be charged unless you order it. Try it out and watch your traffic go up!
