1.Workbench is located in the InterestALERT Developer center. 
You can get a 30 day ID by just clicking on the link.  WORKBENCH lets
you create your own filters and put any articles in them you like. 
Want to send a weekly (or daily) e-news letter with just the articles
you want in it?  This is the tool to use.  Price is $100. a month and
includes E-newsletter delivery to up to 5000 email addresses. 
This drives traffic and builds loyalty to your site.

2. A tip submitted from one of our affiliates shows there is always
more you can get out of InterestALERTs free offerings.  They signed up
their preferred customer list to one of InterestAlerts standard Enews
newsletters for once a week delivery.  These are located at the top of
every InterestAlert news page and send headlines and summaries with
links to full articles. Part of their list had already said they would
receive info from partners so they put that list in first.  Then they
let their other customers know about the newsletter and asked if they
wanted to opt in.   They assured every recipient they could unsubscribe
easily.  Stats have been impressive.  Each week 50% of the newsletters
get opened and read, only 10% have unsubscribed (after 5 weeks)and all
click throughs go to the sitenews pages earning affiliate fees! 
Best of all, sites don't have to do any work.  Just use the link
"subscribe to Enews Newsletters" at the top of any InterestAlert news
page.  The site reports Traffic on newsletter days is up dramatically.

3.  CHECK out www.uniplexmail.com  Many "free" mail sites sound good,
but in reality they keep your customer names or worse, get your customers
in, and then come back and add charges to you.  Uniplex mail isn't free
(well actually the first 10 demo mailboxes are) but it is very affordable
and offers all the goodies.  What we liked about it was the fact that
it is a next gen IMAP server, supports LDAP directories and you can get
at your mail from anyplace in the world without needing more than a
